Another good way to make sure your toddler is getting everything they need to eat in one day is to think about their daily food intake like a rainbow. Just make sure they get at least one food item for every color of the rainbow, and you're the best parent ever!

@Michelle Dirt, boogers and bathwater are all important staples of a toddler's diet. Let's assume dirt and boogers fit under the goldfish category as an alternative snack and that bathwater fits under the apple juice category as a legitimate sub.
